Located on the western shore of the Mersey River, Mussel Rock is home to Devonport’s newest outdoor playground.
Opened in 2023, Roundhouse Park and Mussel Rock includes a nature playground, BBQ shelter including picnic table and amenities, river front walk, and rotunda.
Roundhouse Park and Mussel Rock can be accessed via the many footpaths along Rooke Street and Formby Road. It can also be accessed via the elevated walkway and footpaths through Haines Park.
The rotunda can be used by the public for both informal and formal uses.
