Council meets once a month, usually on the fourth Monday at 5.30pm. Committee meetings are generally held on other Monday evenings throughout the month.

General Manager’s Roll for Local Government elections

Those entitled to vote in the Devonport City Council election are those who are enrolled on the State Electoral Roll (Tasmanian House of Assembly Roll) at an address in the Devonport municipality or those who are enrolled on the General Manager’s Roll for the Devonport municipal area.
