Due to the State emergency response to COVID-19, until further notice, Council is able to allow 20 members of the public to attend Council meetings. Registrations are not currently required, however attendance will be limited to 20 people and attendees will be required to ‘check in’ to the building on arrival to comply with the Government’s COVID tracing requirements.

Meetings will be live streamed on Council’s YouTube channel. A  link to the recording will be available the following day on Council’s website.

Public Questions may be submitted in accordance with the Public Question Time Policy.

Printed copies of the agenda will be provided, on request.

These arrangements enable Council to continue to meet its legislative and decision-making obligations and to provide opportunity for community engagement where possible.

Annual General Meeting

Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of the Devonport City Council for the year ended 30 June 2021 will be held on Monday 8 November 2021 in the paranaple convention centre, Level 3, 137 Rooke Street, Devonport, commencing at 5:30pm.

Registration is requested and can be made by phoning 6424 0511 or by email to council@devonport.tas.gov.au by 12 noon on Monday 8 November 2021.

Any motions for the meeting must be received in writing by close of business on Tuesday 2 November 2021 to ensure inclusion in the agenda, noting that motions from the floor will not be accepted.

Copies of the 2020/21 Annual Report are now available on Council’s website.  A hard copy can be provided on request at Council’s Customer Service Centre, Level 2, paranaple centre.

In accordance with section 72 of the Local Government Act 1993, submissions on the Annual Report are invited and should be delivered to the undersigned by close of business on Tuesday 2 November 2021, to permit them to be listed for discussion at the Annual General Meeting.
