Devonport Food & Wine Festival
The month long Devonport Food & Wine Festival is one of the most popular events of the year. Linking the community with all things food and wine through a month long program of events and activities held in October each year. The Festival celebrates the wine, cheese, chocolate, fresh food and boutique producers who call the North West of Tasmania home.

Devonport Jazz is a 4 day music festival held on the last weekend in July, with performances held across venues in Devonport and surrounds. Devonport Jazz is highly acclaimed in the international Jazz scene, and has attracted artists including Kate Cebrano, James Morrsion, Don Burrows, Graeme Bell, Vince Jones, Janet Seidel, Graeme Lyall, Bob Barnard, Jamie Oehlers, Dan Barnett and Ben Jones.
The Festival has been running since 2002 and attracts over 4000 patrons annually. The Festival promotes live performance and encourages patronage of local venues and businesses through association with Devonport Jazz.

The highlight of Devonport’s Festive Season is the annual Christmas Parade, the parade is well attended and entices thousands into Devonport’s CBD.
Held on the First Friday in December each year.

Devonport’s community New Year’s Eve celebration is held each year long the Mersey Foreshore at Roundhouse Park. Designed with families in mind, this event offers a range of free entertainment for kids, live music to suit the whole family, plus food and drink vendors.
Two fireworks displays – at 9.30pm and again at midnight – are the highlight of the event, wowing young and old with fabulous pyrotechnics.
The Festival has been running since 2012 and attracts on average 8,000 people each year.
