Land-Use Planning Coordinator

This role represents a unique opportunity for a candidate with strong statutory planning and people management skills to join a growing regional City Council. 

You will provide leadership, support and direction to a high performing planning team to oversee the statutory planning obligations and sustainable development of Devonport City.

With a focus on developing the customer service approach and culture of the planning services of the organisation it is an exciting time to be joining the team.   Devonport City Council offer a dynamic working environment with opportunities for professional development and leading initiatives to support a healthy work/life balance.

We are located on the Mersey River in the heart of the beautiful North West Coast of Tasmania. Civil Works 2IC

Devonport City Council is looking for an experienced and motivated Civil Works 2IC to join the team   This is a full-time position working a 9 day fortnight based from our Works Depot.

You will assist in the delivery of maintenance activities and construction work associated with Council’s road-related and stormwater assets.  The role offers variety with some hands on with the tools, as well as providing leadership to the Civil Works team to deliver projects within the Devonport Municipality.  You will have demonstrated leadership skills, time management, outstanding customer service and must be highly organised working in a dynamic and changing environment.
