Curator (Re-advertised)

Council is seeking to appoint a talented Curator to assist with the development of the Devonport Regional Gallery’s exhibition program.

This permanent part-time position is based at the paranaple arts centre, the successful applicant is required to have experience in collection management, together with a knowledge and an understanding of the visual arts more broadly.

The Devonport Regional Gallery has a focus on Contemporary Tasmanian Art.

FUNCTION AND EVENTS OFFICER – paranaple arts centre (Casual)

Council is seeking a casual Function and Events Officer to assist in the operations of functions and events at Council facilities including the paranaple arts centre, paranaple convention centre and Providore Place. 

The role will support Coordinators across the Convention and Arts Department by supervising commercial and community function and event room hire activities, theatre performances and market setup.

This is a casual position, and will require the successful applicant to work primarily on weekends and may include some week day and evening work to meet the needs and expectations of hirers. In this role you will be required to meet the physical demands of the position for function setups.
