Building Maintenance Tradesperson (Carpenter)

An exciting position has become available for an enthusiastic and motivated carpenter to join Council’s Building Maintenance Team, based at the Lawrence Drive Operations Centre.

The purpose of this full time position, is to assist the Building Maintenance Coordinator in the effective and efficient delivery of maintenance activities and construction work associated with Council’s building assets

Civil Works Serviceperson

This permanent full-time position is within the Civil Works team and will undertake maintenance, operations and construction of Council’s road-related and stormwater assets in accordance with Council’s Service Levels,  a medium rigid licence is an essential requirement.

Creative Learning and Public Programs Officer

Council is seeking an innovative professional to design and implement a range of creative learning and public programs that enhance the visitor experience and appreciation of the visual and performing arts in a part-time capacity within the paranaple arts centre.

Curator

Council is seeking to appoint a talented Curator to assist with the development of the Devonport Regional Gallery’s exhibition program.

This permanent part-time position is based at the paranaple arts centre, the successful applicant is required to have experience in collection management, together with a knowledge and an understanding of the visual arts more broadly.

Well-developed management skills are also essential to the role.

Civil Engineer

At Devonport City Council we offer you career growth, a defined career structure, and a great work environment.

Working within our City Infrastructure Department, you will be required to support the City Engineer with the implementation and management of engineering tasks such as the design of Councils Infrastructure Projects, resolving specific engineering problems and issues, drainage modelling and traffic assessment.
