Located in the heart of Devonport City, the Oval is home to the Devonport Football Club, Devonport Cricket Club, Mersey Valley Cycling Club and Devonport Athletics Club.
Boasting an A-Grade turf cricket pitch, ensuring top-quality play regional cricket matches. Covered in the winter to accommodate football, with AFL-standard lighting making it suitable for evening games and training sessions.
A dedicated cycling trail circles the outer oval boundary, offering a safe and scenic route for cyclists, adding another layer of recreational use to the facility. Bookings are casual use only outside of the Club.
The upcoming development of a $60 million Devonport Oval and Indoor Sports Complex aims to enhance facilities, introducing a new six-court community-use facility, a two-court/show court and events centre, outdoor netball and basketball courts, and indoor cricket and high-performance training facilities. Completion is due 2027.
