Technology Training and Support
In June 2020 Devonport Online was successful in obtaining a Be Connected Digital Devices grant. This grant program aims to combat social isolation for Australians aged 50+ during COVID-19 social distancing emergency measures, supporting those who are not currently connected to the internet at home. The grant funding has enabled Devonport Online to purchase Samsung tablets and prepaid SIM cards to loan to socially isolated or disadvantaged older Australians. These devices and any training required will be provided free of charge. The tablets will be loaned out for 2 weeks at a time, with the possibility of extending. Contact 0444 525 434 for bookings.
