Devonport Community Garden

The Devonport Community Garden is an initiative of Devonport Community House through consultation with the public and was initially sponsored by Housing Tas.Got a green thumb – or just want to show the kids where vegies come from? The Community Garden, located at 2 Morris Avenue is for everyone to enjoy.  With support from the Devonport City Council, local schools, businesses and neighbours, the garden provides an ideal place for people to meet, learn and develop their skills.

Motto: Nurturing the seeds of a growing community.

Community Groups & Sponsored Plots

All groups within the community are welcome to hire a plot in the Garden. Some sponsored plots available. Contact us if you or your organisation wish to sponsor a plot or need a sponsored plot. Garden rules & charges apply.

Volunteers

We encourage volunteers to donate their skills and time or just come along and potter!  Potter in the Garden on Thursday mornings from 9.30am.  Morning tea around 10.30am.  In return we offer a share of the harvest.
