Artist: Darryl Rogers
Darryl Rogers is an Australian visual artist based in Launceston, Tasmania, known for his innovative work across hybrid and time‑based media. Working at the intersection of art and technology, Rogers creates immersive experiences using video, augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), installation, painting and sculpture.
Rogers’ work has been exhibited widely both in Australia and internationally, appearing at venues and events such as Times Square in New York, LOOP Barcelona, FACT in the United Kingdom, and major festivals and galleries across Australia. His artworks are held in significant collections including Artbank Australia and the Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery, as well as private collections worldwide.
His practice continues to span both traditional and digital media, often combining painting with light, motion and interactive technologies. Overall, Darryl Rogers is recognised for his experimental approach and his ability to merge art, science and technology into compelling, thought‑provoking visual experiences.
