Tasmanian living woody plants
Located just 10 kilometres south of Devonport the Arboretum is home to the worlds largest collection of Tasmanian living woody plants, Southern Hemisphere Conifers and one of the best places in Tasmania to see a platypus [1] in the wild.
With around 80 bird species [2] recorded around the site and 66 ha to discover, the park offers something for all ages and abilities.
The Tasmanian Arboretum is Supported by the Devonport City Council.
Update 25 May 2020: Given the extraordinary circumstances of this #covid19 [3] era the Arboretum seeks to protect its volunteers by minimising handling of cash. As a way of achieving this we ask you, please, to make your entry payments by donation through our secure online portal https://www.givenow.com.au/tasmanianarboretum [4]
