Devonport City Council officially adopted its 2022/23 Annual Plan and Budget Estimates at its Ordinary Meeting on 27 June 2022.

Devonport Mayor Annette Rockliff said despite increasing costs and soaring inflation, Council has delivered a responsible budget, based on an operating surplus, strong capital works program and a rate increase less than a third of the current CPI index.

Cr Rockliff said the benefits from Council’s bold investment in LIVING CITY have never been more evident, with strong investment confidence continuing to grow.
