Learn about the science behind Tasmania’s annual eagle survey: interact daily online with professional ecologists & conservationists!

School students are invited to join zoologists Clare Hawkins and James Pay LIVE for 30 minute online lessons from 4th May. They’ll take students on a 9 day scientific journey around Tasmania to learn about birds, ecology and this year’s Where? Where? Wedgie! citizen science project in May 2020.

Spend a day in the great outdoors working on this great Citizen Science event!

NatureTrackers’ first long-term project – Where? Where? Wedgie! – is to monitor Tasmania’s diurnal birds of prey. The focus is on our endangered wedge-tailed eagles, but we also cover white cockatoos and corellas.

Book in a couple of friends and a little bit of kit, choose when and where, explore the ‘Get Ready!’ resources and make sure you have everything you need.
