Devonport Food and Wine – an initiative of the Devonport City Council

The month long Devonport Food & Wine Festival is one of the most popular events of the year. Linking the community with all things food and wine through a month long program of events and activities held in October each year. The Festival celebrates the wine, cheese, chocolate, fresh food and boutique producers who call the North West of Tasmania home.

Babe on the Big Screen

Come and see the Movie Babe!

Due to the popularity of the last family movie Council will be once again hosting a free Sunday afternoon movie on the big screen on level 3, paranaple convention centre.

Bring your picnic rugs, chairs & a picnic and enjoy the family favourite Babe, a pig raised by sheepdogs who learns to herd sheep with a little help from Farmer Hoggett.

The screening will kick off at 1.00pm Sunday 4 August.

The East Devonport Child and Family Centre caters for families with children aged 0-5. they offer a fabulous space for families to spend time together and a host of activities and services to help parents be the best they can be.

Munnew is a community Adult Dementia Day Centre, that provides a supported day respite service to people living with Dementia and their carers in Devonport and surrounding communities.
