Bollard rectification works in Southern Rooke Street will be undertaken by a contractor this weekend. The work will be undertaken between 7am and 5pm on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 August.

On Saturday 10 August two car parking metered spaces on the northern side of King Street adjacent to the intersection with Rooke Street and two car parking metered spaces on Rooke Street, just south of the 12 bollards being treated, will be occupied by the contractor.

On Sunday 11 August two car parking metered spaces will be required on the northern side of King Street adjacent to the intersection with Rooke Street and two car parking metered spaces on Rooke St adjacent to the three treatment sites will be occupied by the contractor.

Police bollards and nightline will be erected to create a barrier between pedestrian traffic and the works each day.

The contractor will place plastic on the footpath/pavers before excavation commences to facilitate the final clean up after the works and restoration are complete. The barriers will be removed upon restoration and clean up.

Appropriate signage will be installed notifying pedestrians and motorists about the planned work.
