Due to the current COVID-19 situation and the importance of physical distancing, Devonport Council celebrated National Families Week in a different way this year.
The pandemic highlight’s the importance of the theme of National Families Week – ‘Stronger Families, Stronger Communities‘ and the role families play by working together to support each other and provide care for those in the broader community.
Devonport Council asked you to get creative with your family and submit your favourite family recipe. It could have been one handed down through the generations… or it could be a scrumptious concoction you as a family created in isolation.
All recipes submitted during Family Week have been included in a downloadable “Devonport Community Recipe book [1]”.
