Healing for Hillcrest Tribute Match – Game Day information

Devonport City Council is excited to welcome the Hawthorn and Richmond football clubs to Devonport for the Healing for Hillcrest Tribute Match that is being played as part of the AFL’s AAMI Community Series, on Saturday 5 March at the Devonport Oval.

Please note the following information applicable to game day:

Traffic Management (refer to attached image)

  • Temporary closure of public street – James Street (between Clements Street and North Fenton Street from 10:00am to 6:00pm)
  • Disability parking and access to the oval, for disability permit holders, will be off North Fenton Street
  • General parking will be available on Byard Park, with access off George Street
  • Event staff parking in North Fenton Street – ID and voucher required

COVID Safety

  • Please bring your mask – masks need to be worn at all times apart from when taking a bite of food or a sip of your drink
  • Check in TAS: You will be required to scan via the QR code provided at the gate
  • Social distance when queuing for entry for food or drinks
  • Cashless venue: Eftpos only at all outlets

Security

  • Security checks, including bag checks and wanding will be undertaken on entry
  • No chairs are to be brought into the venue
  • Umbrellas may be brought in, but must not be erected during play

Most importantly, dress in your footy colours and bring your loudest cheering voices!
