Wear Orange Wednesday

The State Emergency Service does an amazing job in the North-West helping to keep us all safe day in and day out.
Even in the midst of a pandemic team members have still been out working within our communities.
Since late March they have undertaking daily tasks at each arrival of the Spirit of Tasmania and working with the Tasmania Fire Service and Australian Defence Force personnel on compliance checks for those in isolation.
They have also been involved in search and rescue, road crash rescue and storm responses.
And now is the time to say thanks by wearing orange on Wednesday 20 May as part of Wear Orange Wednesday, which recognises their service.

The paranaple centre will also be bathed in orange on Wednesday night to recognise SES workers.
