Practical Experience Days – Aged Care

These hands on workshops offer practical hands on experience to support women (aged between 16 and 64) who choose to increase their understanding of the skills and aptitude sought by employers.

Sessions will include tasks such as

• bedmaking (subject to availability)
• wheelchair awareness
• vision impairment activities
• hand massage
• simulated tasks for fun and communication

Practical Experience Days will be hosted in regions across Tasmania. Venue information will be provided closer to the event date.

Please note: places are limited for these events and preference will be given to those that have registered to and attended a Career Discovery Day
