Extinction Matters BioBlitz – Kelcey Tier – Library Sessions #3

You’re invited to a school holiday workshop with a Scientist (or Naturalist) in the lead up to the 2023 Kelcey Tier BioBlitz.

Do you know someone who’s fascinated by ‘bugs’? Perhaps their eyes are a little bit closer to the ground where insects and other little animals are most easily found…

As both science teacher and co-founder of the fantastic online resource Field Guide to the Insects of Tasmania, Kristi Ellingsen is the perfect person to help us get to know them better. She’s going to help us all get ready to find and (the big challenge) identify lots of different insects – both in our backyards, and at the Extinction Matters BioBlitz on 20-21 October, when she’ll be taking groups during her Incredible Insects surveys.

This session is dedicated to the younger nature-lovers and their families, to inspire everyone to take a closer look.

This program is for ages 7 – 15.
