Oldaker (East) catchment upgrade – stage 2

Project Name:                    Oldaker (East) catchment upgrade – stage 2

Proposed Status:               Construct in 2020/21

Previous Status:                 No change

Proposed Budget:              $550,000

Project Objective:              Asset upgrade

Project Justification:       An analysis of the existing stormwater network has identified that there is a risk from flooding to people and property in this catchment.  Delivering the second stage of the project as part of the development of the Waterfront Park will ensure value for money and reduce the risk of flooding of the redeveloped area.

Project Scope:                   Increases capacity of the existing system through the construction of new stormwater lines in Oldaker street connecting to stage 1 work.  It is proposed that a new pipe would be laid on the north side of Oldaker Street, heading west form the Victoria Parade roundabout.
