Position Purpose:

Devonport City Council is seeking an experienced leader to manage the Infrastructure Department to include Engineering, Assets and Technical Services in the effective and efficient delivery of services required to achieve Councils objectives.

You will have exceptional team leadership skills to ensure the optimal strategic delivery of asset-based services for the community and promote our culture based on Council’s core values and ability to provide expert professional advice across the Department, to the Senior Management team, Councillors and to the broader organisation and its customers.

This is a full-time fixed term contract position offering workplace flexibility.

We are located on the Mersey River in the heart of the beautiful North West Coast of Tasmania. Devonport is particularly well known for its reserves and recreational facilities, from the kilometres of walking and cycling tracks, beautiful beaches, a river suitable for a number of water sports, great fishing and numerous parklands, the City encourages an active and family friendly lifestyle.
