Vandalism, including graffiti and property damage, negatively impacts our community and creates significant clean-up costs. Devonport City Council is committed to removing graffiti and repairing damage to public property as quickly as possible.

This section is for reporting damage so our crews can arrange for its assessment and repair.

Vandalism is a criminal offence.

Vandalism / Graffiti - Buildings, Toilets, Street and Park Furniture/Bins

You can use this service to report graffiti or vandalism damage to Council-owned buildings, public amenities, and furniture.


This form is for requesting the clean-up or repair of these public assets. Please remember that vandalism is a criminal act, and you can also report the incident to the Tasmania Police Assistance Line on 131 444.


What to report using this form

This form is for damage to Council structures and amenities in our parks, reserves, and urban areas. Please use it to report issues such as:

  • Graffiti or other damage to Council buildings, community halls, or sporting club rooms.

  • Vandalism to public toilet blocks, including damage to doors, walls, or fixtures.

  • Damage to street and park furniture, such as benches, picnic tables, or BBQs.

  • Vandalism to public bins, including graffiti, fire damage, or other breakage.


To help our crews respond quickly, please provide the exact location of the damage. For parks, please specify the location within the park (e.g., "the playground near the main car park"). Attaching a photo is also extremely helpful.

You can use this service to report graffiti or vandalism damage to Council-managed parking infrastructure.

What to report using this form

This form is for damage to equipment and structures within our on-street and off-street parking facilities. Please use it to report issues such as:

  • Graffiti or other damage to parking meters and ticket machines.

  • Vandalism to signage located within a Council car park.

  • Damage to boom gates, ticket validators, or pay stations in the Multi-Level Car Park.

  • Other acts of vandalism within a Council-managed car park.


To help our crews respond quickly, please provide the exact location of the damage. For a parking meter, please include the Meter ID number. For car parks, please provide the car park name and the specific location inside (e.g., "Level 2, near the pay station"). Attaching a photo is also extremely helpful.

Vandalism / Graffiti - Parks Open Space (Inc Cemetery)

You can use this service to report acts of graffiti or vandalism that have occurred within Council-managed parks, reserves, cemeteries, and other public open spaces.

What to report using this form

This form is for general damage to the grounds and features of our open spaces. Please use it to report issues such as:

  • Graffiti on natural features like rocks or trees.

  • Damage to grounds, such as turf being deliberately dug up or damaged.

  • Vandalism to garden beds, plants, or landscaping.

  • Damage to cemetery grounds, structures, or headstones.

  • Any other vandalism within a park or reserve that is not related to a specific piece of equipment or a building.


To help our crews respond quickly, please provide the exact location of the damage. Use nearby landmarks, track names, or features to describe the location (e.g., "in Don Reserve, 100m along the main track from the car park"). Attaching a photo is also extremely helpful.
