Street Tree Planting Program
Council recognises the importance of trees in our streets and has Guidelines, Priority and Procedure Documents in place, which guide Council to plan and execute streetscape projects across the municipality.
The Parks team undertake a range of job functions, which ensure the future and safety of our street trees. Some of these functions include, risk management activities through routine inspections, general maintenance activities eg. pruning, watering, planting & removal projects and emergency response. To notify Council of a Street Tree issue of any nature contact Council Reception on 6424 0511.
Expressions of Interest for a Street Tree
This is a new Council initiative developed by the Street and Park Tree Working Group, for residents who would like to nominate a street, or section of street, to be included in Council's annual planting program.
