Draft Signage Strategy open for public comment

Council last night endorsed for public comment the draft Signage Strategy.

Your input is welcome on the Strategy and the proposed sign designs. These documents are only drafts and Council will consider all comments to improve signage.

One of the key issues regarding existing signage is the inconsistency in design and themes. These proposed templates have been designed as a series of similarly themed signs that allowing users to recognise the sign system, improving their ability to navigate through the City. Note the content of the signs has yet to be determined; the first stage is to develop the design.

To view the Strategy, proposed sign designs and to submit your feedback, head to Speak Up Devonport. Hard copies can also be collected from Customer Service, 44-48 Best Street, Devonport.

Submissions must be received by Thursday 7 September 2012.
