Community Safety Liaison Group
The Devonport Community Safety Liaison Group has been established as a formal partnership between Council, Police, Government agencies, Community Organisations and local residents to work together collaboratively to improve community safety in the municipality since July 2001. The following organisations and groups are currently represented in the Community Safety Liaison Group:
- Devonport City Council
- Devonport Police and Emergency Services
- Devonport Community House
- St Vincent de Paul
- Youth and Family Focus
- Devonport Chamber of Commerce and Industry
- Local Business Representatives
- Department of Health and Human Services
- Department of Infrastructure, Energy and Roads
- Department of Housing
- Devonport-Latrobe Liquor Accord
The Group meet every two months. If you would like your safety concerns raised at the meeting please contact Council.
