Seniors Card

The Tasmanian Government provides a card giving business and government savings to seniors.  This is called the Seniors Card.  Almost 600 businesses and services support the Seniors Card Program, offering a diverse range of savings on products and services to Senior Card holders throughout Tasmania.  The Seniors Card can bring savings to seniors on the following types of products and services:

  •  Clothing & Accessories
  •  Health Care
  •  Dry Cleaning & Laundry Services
  •  Dining Out
  •  Energy/Electricity

  •  Garden & Nurseries
  •  Gift Lines
  •  Hairdressing & Beauty
  •  Home Decorating & Furnishings

  •  Tourist Attractions in Tasmania

The Seniors Card is provided free to:

  • All Tasmanian residents, 60 years of age and over, and who are not in paid employment of more than 20 hours per week.

Seniors Week

Seniors Week promotes positive and successful ageing by celebrating the important contribution Tasmanian seniors make to our community.  Seniors Week activities provide opportunities for seniors to learn new skills, build networks, socialise and have fun.
