Payment Options

Devonport City Council offers a variety of easy and convenient payment options.

Payment in Person
Please bring your payment slip to the Devonport City Council, 44-48 Best Street, Devonport.  Customer Service hours are between 8.05am and 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.  Payment may be made by cash, credit card, cheque or EFTPOS.

Payment by Mail
Tear off and mail the payment slip to: The General Manager, Devonport City Council, PO Box 604, Devonport 7310.  Cheques should be made payable to Devonport City Council.  Post dated cheques will not be accepted.

Payment by Credit Card
You may elect to authorise payment of each instalment as they become due with one authorisation.  Please ask our Customer Service Staff about this service.

Direct Debit
Direct debit from your nominated bank account.  Application forms are available at the Council Office, by calling (03) 6424 0511 or by dowloading the document below:

Phone payments may be made by holders of all major credit cards by calling the Payment Hotline on 1300 886 451, anytime.  Please have your notice with you when paying by phone.
Internet payments may be made by holders of all major credit cards at Council's Internet address www.devonport.tas.gov.au.  Please have your notice with you when paying by internet.

Centrelink CentrePay
Use CentrePay to arrange for regular deductions from your Centrelink payment.  Simply call Centrelink or contact Council to request a CentrePay deduction form.
