World Wetlands Week
An opportunity for us to visit and experience wetlands such as the Mary Street Wetlands, East Devonport and make commitments to care for them. Each year on February 2, people celebrate the cultural and biological importance of wetlands.

Clean Up Australia Day
Activities are organised by Service Clubs, schools, Devonport City Council and youth groups. More details are available here.

| May 4-17, 2009 |
Arbor Week
Runs for two weeks and includes activities at the Tasmanian Arboretum, the Imaginarium and selected revegetation and planting sites around Devonport.

National Threatened Species Day
This day aims to raise awareness of threatened species and encourages people to look after our native flora and fauna.

National Weedbuster Week
This week is an awareness program that works with the community to achieve sustainable land and water management, primarily through increased public involvement in weed management, education and awareness projects.

Coastcare Week
