The Eastern Shore Community House is a place where members of the local community come together to meet with other people and participate in activities or to access specific services.

Our Vision is to help build a community that is able to meet the needs of its families, individuals and children.

We offer a range of weekly programs and one off activities that offer social, physical, emotional and/or educational benefits to people of all ages from all backgrounds.

- Scrabble
- Crib and 500
- Craft
- Watercolours
- Zumba
- Bingo
- Quilting
- Walking Group

- Children's Community Garden

A copy of our current timetable is available to download on Facebook and our website. All activities are offered at a minimal cost to participants and are open to anyone. We provide back-up childcare for some activities, in order to give parents/guardians a chance to take some "me time."

The Eastern Shore Community House also has a number of public access computers that can be used by members free of charge for up to two hours per day. We can provide individual or group lessons for people who have little or no experience with computers or who wish to learn a specific skill.

We work with members of the community and other service providers to identify needs and implement new programs accordingly. The staff and volunteers at the Community House, led by Coordinator, Lorrine, welcome new members or visitors and invite people to contact us to suggest new activities.

Other services offered at, or supported by, the Eastern Shore Community House includes:
- No Interest Loans Scheme (NILS) applications
- Family Support through Youth and Family Focus
- Eastern Shore Kommunity Kids

The community house has a number of rooms, including a kitchen that may be hired out to other community groups.

We are open from 9:00am - 4:30pm Monday to Thursday and 9:00am-1:30pm on Fridays. Please feel free to drop in at any time!
