Devonport City Council initiates and supports several programs for educating and involving the community about trees. Council is always willing to listen to new ideas from the community. Below are the current community activities that relate to trees that Council is either involved in or supports.
This event is initiated and supported by Council in conjunction with the Tasmanian Arboretum and the local North West branch of the Australian Plant Society.
This celebration is conducted annually during the month of May and is open for all sectors of the community to become involved.
