Devonport City Council, together with the former Public Art Special Committee, has developed a Devonport Public Art Guide(PDF, 722KB) to help promote and provide visitors and residents with information about the City's public art installations.

With over seven public art installations located throughout Devonport, the Guide provides details about the inspiration, creation and meaning of the artworks.

You can also pick it up a copy from the Devonport Regional Gallery, the Bass Strait Maritime Centre, the Devonport Visitor Information Centre or Council's Best Street offices.

Public Art is a term given to the practice of involving artists in the enhancement of a public space.
