To ensure easy identification & understanding, and to create a sense of place and pride, Council has set out to create a recognised identity and brand design to enhance the visitor experience and develop cohesion.
Representatives from the Gallery, Linc, tourism, theatre, indigenous community, Devonport Chamber of Commerce, LIVING CITY Reference Group, Council staff and your Aldermen have so far all been involved with this branding opportunity, looking to develop the story and personality that portrays what our community stands for, what we are, who we are and where are we going. It is a process we need to be correct and be taken seriously, as a successful brand connects and stays with people and it is people who will tell our story.
It’s now time to get out and about and experience some of the exciting events happening in Devonport through our 2017 Spring events program. With so much to choose from, this handy guide will make planning to fit everything in that much easier. It’s time to learn new things, have new experiences, or sample some of what we already do so well – food and wine! It’s time to shake off Winter, get outside and get involved! The Devonport Spring 2017 Events Guide is now available on Council’s website – www.devonport.tas.gov.au. Looking forward to seeing you at one of our Spring events.
